Can We Just Ask is a documentary and events platform that encourages discussion, idea-sharing and, ultimately, problem-solving around issues that face society and the environment.
Previous panel discussions have included:
‘What does it mean to be a man?’
‘Is Plastic-free actually sustainable?’
‘Who’s in control us or our phones?’
The platform was started by myself and Annie Clarke, after we became disenfranchised after realising that the conversations we had continually remained within our own networks. There is huge value in being exposed and open to the opinions of those to which you differ - and that’s what we designed Can We Just Ask to foster.
We tell stories and start conversations that matter through documentary photography and film, as well as regular panel events.
I regularly produce and present the entertainment and film news across Access on Channel 5 and FYI Daily on ITV2. This can range from chatting about the latest Hollywood releases, to postulating (yeah…that’s right - postulating) about Love Island.
I produce and present the bi-monthly Balcony TV London show - on which emerging and established music artists do stripped back performances in front of an awesome view of London - followed a stripped back and often windy interview.
